The "Long Neck" (or Deep Rib) design allows the cutter to reach deep cavities and slots without the shank interfering with the workpiece wall, while the short flute length maintains maximum rigidity to prevent breakage.

It is the ideal tool for semi-finishing and finishing precision molds, ribs, and slots in hardened steels (up to HRC55), carbon steel, and alloy steel.

Q1: What materials is this tool suitable for? A1: This 4-flute long neck end mill is optimized for Steel, Alloy Steel, Cast Iron, and Hardened Steel up to HRC55. It is not recommended for Aluminum (use our 3-flute or 2-flute uncoated carbide series for Al).
